Beer Cocktails & Cheese Class w/Peroni

Ciao, cheeser! In this fun pairing class, a pro will guide us through crafting delicious and unique cocktails with Peroni's world famous Nastro Azzurro beer as the base. Then, we'll taste our creations alongside some cheeses selected to parfectly pair with the drinks! 

Peroni’s Nicole Testa will be in the house to introduce us to some of her favorite beer cocktails, and PCS’s Julia Birnbaum will lead the class alongside Nicole as she present some spectacular cheeses. While beer cocktails may seem like a new and wacky concept, it's one Nicole is very comfortable with. She has some awesome recipes for you to easily recreate at home and wow guests at your next dinner party. And of course, it wouldn't be a PCS event without some stunning cheeses to taste!

After class, participants will have access to the PCS Classroom Gift Shop, stocked with PCS merchandise and a rotating selection of cheese-themed gift items.

Nicole Testa has been the opening bar manager and creative force at many Philadelphia craft cocktail institutions and hotspots. Her cocktail programs thrive on her passion to support local and keep seasonal ingredients incorporated. She has trained staff, opened restaurants and bars, and offered a variety of services including but not limited to cocktail development, menu conceptualization, trainings, corporate team-building, private events, and bar related seminars.

Nicole was recognized for Fairmount Food Fight's Best Cocktail of 2016 & 2017, Winner of the Philly Craft Spirits Cocktail Competition in 2016, Runner up of Twisted Tail's fifth annual Whiskey Bonanza in 2018, judged the Philly Craft Spirits competition in 2017, was inducted into the 2018 Sons and Daughters of Independence and won 2020 Judges Choice at the second installment of Suits & Sazerac's, a spirited cocktail competition and charitable fundraiser benefitting Philadelphia local nonprofit, Career Wardrobe. Now after 15+ years in the Food & Beverage industry, she has taken her experience and talents to Team Enterprises as the NYC Peroni Brand Manager.

• All public classes are open only to adults 21+. This class will take place at the PCS Classroom, click here for more info about the space.
• All guests must be prepared to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon entering.
