Beer & Cheese Class w/ Orr Shtuhl

Philly Cheese School is excited to team up with Orr Shtuhl, a total beer aficionado, for an epic beer and cheese pairing class! Orr's not just any beer expert – he's a legit beer educator and food columnist who knows his stuff when it comes to pairing brews with cheese. Get ready for a super informative session where Orr breaks down the magic behind some cool beers and how they can pair with the perfect cheeses. 

Join us in the PCS Classroom where you'll be guided through an hour-long tasting of four of Orr's favorite beers, expertly paired with four artisanal cheeses. Orr will co-lead the class alongside PCS’s Julia Birnbaum and both will offer insight on the products featured, as well as pairing, serving and tasting tips.

After class, participants will have access to the PCS Classroom Gift Shop, stocked with PCS merchandise and a rotating selection of cheese-themed gift items.

About Orr Shtuhl: 

Orr Shtuhl is a James Beard-nominated food writer and educator. He has taught beer classes at Murray's Cheese, the Bedford Cheese Shop, and with his own beer tours project, The Bestest. He was the Washington City Paper's first beer columnist, and his writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Gastronomica, Serious Eats, and NPR.
